Delivery & Returns
Uppercrust Pies and Perishable Goods
All perishable goods will be sent via DPD Local in temperature controlled boxes. All our pies are handmade to order; we carry no stock to ensure that when you order from us you receive the pies fresh with a good shelf life. Pies take 24 hours to be produced, with this mind the following must be taken into consideration when ordering:
Orders placed before mid-day:
Monday will be dispatched Tuesday
Tuesday will be dispatched Wednesday
Wednesday will be dispatched Thursday
Thursday will be dispatched Monday
Friday will be dispatched Monday
Orders placed after mid-day:
Monday will be dispatched Wednesday
Tuesday will be dispatched Thursday
Wednesday will be dispatched Monday
Thursday will be dispatched Monday
Friday will be dispatched Tuesday
Any orders placed on Saturday & Sunday will be dispatched on Tuesday
Saturday delivery is available but carries a surcharge of £15. Orders for Saturday delivery must be placed by mid-day Thursday at the latest
Please note that we cannot accept cancellation of orders as all pies are made to order
Non-perishable good can be sent via Hermes on a 3-5 day service or DPD Local on an expedited service
Standard Delivery & Express Delivery
For same day dispatch orders must be placed be placed before 2pm. Orders received after 2pm will be shipped the next day. Orders placed after 2pm Friday - Sunday will be dispatched Monday
For complete peace of mind we only deliver our products via DPD Local & Hermes. Tracking details will be sent via e-mail.
DPD LOCAL: If a mobile number &/or email address is provided you will receive a message providing you with a 1 hour delivery slot.
DPD LOCAL also have an app that can be used to track orders
This service only applies to mainland UK.
We are unable to ship on a 24 hour service to the following postcodes:
Scottish Highlands - AB36-38, AB55-56, FK17-21, IV1-39, IV52-54, IV63, KW1-14, PA21-40, PH19-26, PH30-41, PH49-50
Scottish Islands - HS1-9, IV40-51, IV55-56, KA27-28, KW15-17, PA20, PA41-49, PA60-78, PH42-44, ZE1-3
As standard for UK addresses, we ship via DPD Local which is a 24 hour service where parcels will be delivered within 24 hours from dispatch, Delivery times may be extended at peak times for example Christmas or during times of extreme weather conditions. Where possible we will notify customers of any delays
Non-perishable goods are shipped with Hermes on a 3-5 day delivery service. We are not able to provide a definite delivery date with this option.
Non perishable products are dispatched daily from Monday to Friday
Perishable goods are dispatched Monday-Thursday.
We currently deliver within mainland UK. For delivery enquires for outside the UK please contact us.

Charges based on shipping weight of products:
Less than 1kg - £3.30 - Hermes
1kg - 2kg - £4.50 - Hermes
2 to 30kg- £5.95 - DPD
There is a standard £5.95 charge for express delivery. Exceptions occur with bulk purchases based on weight of products.

We constantly strive to ensure that you are delighted every time you shop with us. On rare occasions we know that you may wish to return items so below is our returns policy.
If you decide you no longer want the item please notify us within 7 days of delivery. In the case of unwanted goods, the cost of returning the item(s) is the responsibility of the customer. Upon return the cost of the item(s) will be refunded.
When returning items to us it is the buyers responsibility to ensure that the items arrive safely. (Please return the goods in their original condition, do not remove any tags from the items and repack them to insure that the product is not damaged on its return journey) We cannot accept any responsibility for items lost via post, therefore we recommend that you obtain proof of postage, covering yourself in the event of a missing parcel.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If an item is damaged in transit to you and this is clear on arrival ask for the package to be marked as damaged and notify us within 7 days of delivery. If you have already signed and then realise your order is damaged or incorrect notify us within 7 days of delivery.
Please keep all boxes and packaging material along with the damaged item as our couriers may wish to pick up the package for inspection.
We will advise method of returning damaged item to us and cover the cost of the return. We will either refund the item in full or send a replacement. In some circumstances we may require the item to be returned prior to sending a replacement or issuing a refund
All Pies are made to order, therefore when we receive an order we are unable to accept any changes or cancellations. Returns are not accepted.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
